On 16 February 2026 I spoke at Let’s Konnect Milano, the event run by Konnecta People for training and networking among professionals.
Why colour in branding goes beyond colour psychology clichés
I ran a workshop on the strategic role of colour in building a brand and a personal brand. My goal was to take apart the common assumptions everyone repeats, clichés like “blue communicates trust” or “red conveys energy”, and present an approach grounded in neuroscience and individual emotional memory.
Colour perception does not work the same way for everyone. It ties to personal experiences, memories and emotions. That awareness sets apart a brand that follows convention from one that gets recognised, remembered and chosen by clients.
What participants took away
During the workshop participants gained a fresh awareness of the strategic role of colour in personal branding. They learned a method to build an authentic palette that fits their own identity, based on the RAH Colour Method I apply in my brand strategy projects. They walked away with concrete tools to stand out from competitors without falling back on the usual industry clichés.
The event was capped at 25 participants to keep the experience valuable and leave room for direct exchange. That choice reflects the Let’s Konnect format, built for business owners, freelancers, professionals and creators who want to turn their professional identity into a strategic business asset.
Authentic networking with Konnecta People
The evening ended with an informal aperitivo, the key moment of the Let’s Konnect format for creating authentic connections. Konnecta People is a startup changing the way people network, focused on meaningful encounters and quality professional relationships over the long term.
Being invited to speak in this setting gave me a chance to exchange ideas with professionals who share the same vision: building real relationships, grounded in value and mutual growth.
